The weather is cold and we need to get warmed up. This homemade hot chocolate recipe has been a game-changer in the taste bud department. Warning once you try it you won’t help but want to make more.
How To Really Make Clean Organic Homemade Hot Chocolate: Cacao
First, you add organic cacao powder to your hot chocolate. Just one tablespoon is all I do but if you are feeling extra chocolately add more. Mix until you don’t have any clumps. There are so many brands to try just make sure to check the ingredients to make sure it’s just organic cacao powder and nothing else added.
Second, you add the honey to your hot chocolate. It’s not just any honey it’s chocolate honey. I do about two tablespoons but less can be more if you want it to. Stir until all the honey has dissolved.
Third, add peppermint oil to your hot chocolate. Just a tad bit. Less is really more. It won’t hurt it to add too much but might take your breath away is all.
Fourth, add the marshmallows to the top of your homemade hot chocolate. It’s the best part and really makes you feel like a kid again. Peppermint marshmallows are a really great touch too if you like peppermint that much.
To sum this up warm-up filtered water, add cacao powder, chocolate honey, peppermint oil, and marshmallows. You won’t only want to have one cup.
