When it comes to looking on the internet for natural remedies they seem easy to come by but a few are miss leading. In this article, we are going to tackle essential oil uses. Please note in this article I’m only speaking from experience and what has worked for me. If something major is going on please see a medical professional.
Cold + Flu
This is probably my favorite use of oils. You literally put some drops in a roller ball and roll it on every 3 to 4 hours until symptoms subside. Lemon and Tree Tea seem to be our go-to’s. We also do warm tea that is for your throat, a hot bath, some type of rub for your chest to open up your nose. Also taking activated charcoal really helps pull the junk out.
Allergies
The three that seem to really keep everyone’s allergies down is peppermint, lemon, and lavender. Put a few drops of each in a roller ball and fill the rest with coconut oil. We normally stick to just putting this on in the mornings and at night but whatever time works well for you. This might be a something you make a couple roller balls of keeping one at home and carrying the other around with ya.
Bug Bites
Those silly bugs always seem to bite us when we least expect it. Like when we are out having a fire and enjoy our relaxing time. They just invite themselves right on in bite us. So we have to have something on hand to take the itch away. Peppermint, lavender, and tea tree work AMAZING for these. Just put a few of each in a roller ball with some coconut oil you will be good to go and ready for then they strike.
